High-Temperature Testing: How Tiumsen Protects Your Brand Through Reliable Glass Packaging

Nov 28, 2025

At Tiumsen, every bottle we deliver carries more than just a formula inside-it carries your brand's reputation. That's why quality control is not a final step in our process; it is built into every stage, from design and engineering to mass production and final inspection.

One of the most important tests in our quality program is the high-temperature resistance test for glass bottles. The photo above shows our precision high-temperature test chamber in operation during a real test on a customer's bottle.

Why High-Temperature Testing Matters

Glass cosmetic and fragrance bottles experience many different environments before they reach the end consumer:

Hot filling or warm liquids during production

High temperatures in warehouses and containers

Long-distance sea or air freight

Storage under strong light or near heat sources in shops and homes

Without proper testing, these conditions can lead to problems such as micro-cracks, deformation of accessories, leakage, label damage, or changes in coating and printing. Tiumsen's high-temperature testing is designed to simulate these challenges in advance, so potential risks are discovered and solved before products go to market.

Inside Tiumsen's High-Temperature Test

For each new glass bottle project, and for regular batch checks, we place sample bottles into our Precision High Temperature Test Chamber. This equipment allows us to precisely control temperature and exposure time according to the product's application and customer requirements.

During the test we:

Set the target temperature on the controller to simulate real transport, storage, or filling conditions.

Maintain constant temperature for a specified period, monitoring the chamber to ensure stable and uniform heat distribution.

Inspect the bottles after the test for any visible or microscopic defects, including cracks, breakage, stress marks, deformation, color change, or loss of surface coating and printing.

Evaluate functional performance, such as thread integrity, sealing with pump or cap, label adhesion, and compatibility of decoration (spray coating, hot stamping, silk screen, etc.).

Only bottles that pass all these checkpoints are approved. Any issue triggers a full review with our engineering and production teams to adjust glass formulation, bottle design, or process parameters.

What This Means for Our Customers

By performing high-temperature testing on glass bottles, Tiumsen helps you:

Reduce risk of leakage and breakage during filling, transport, and shelf display.

Protect product appearance, ensuring coatings, logos, and artwork remain bright and stable under challenging conditions.

Improve consumer safety and brand trust, minimizing complaints and returns.

Shorten launch time, because potential issues are identified and fixed early in the development stage.

Our customers can confidently launch high-end perfumes, skincare, and cosmetic products knowing that the packaging has already been tested under extreme conditions.

Tiumsen's Commitment to Quality

High-temperature testing is just one part of Tiumsen's complete quality assurance system. Depending on the project, we also perform:

Drop and impact tests

Internal pressure and vacuum tests

Compatibility and leakage tests with pumps and caps

Adhesion and rub tests for printing and coating

Visual and dimensional inspections according to AQL standards

Every test is recorded, and traceability is maintained from raw materials to finished products. Our goal is simple: to deliver stable, reliable, and beautiful packaging that lives up to your brand's standards-every single time.
