Three different cosmetic tubes have their own advantages and disadvantages

There are mainly three kinds of plastic hoses in popular cosmetic packaging materials, namely: aluminum-plastic composite hose, all-plastic composite hose, and plastic co-extrusion hose. The plastic tubes of these three materials have their own advantages and disadvantages for cosmetic packaging.

Weakness analysis:

(1) Due to the use of aluminum foil, the aluminum-plastic composite hose has many disadvantages, such as invisible content, poor environmental protection, poor rebound, low composite strength, and easy delamination.

(2) The barrier performance of various plastic composite hoses mainly depends on the type and thickness of the barrier layer material. With EVOH as the barrier layer material, the cost of all plastic composite hoses using EVOH as the barrier layer material to achieve the same barrier and stiffness is about 20% - 30% higher than that of aluminum-plastic composite hoses. For a long time to come, this will be the main factor restricting the replacement of aluminum-plastic composite hoses by all-plastic composite hoses.

(3) The production and processing process of plastic co-extrusion hoses is usually completed before printing. For the printing process, the efficiency is low, the process is complex and difficult.
